Shane Reckin (Director)
Director Shane Reckin’s career spans over 35 years in the bulk packaging industry. He started his career with Sachet Packaging Ltd. as a design engineer and a year later became the first employee of Sapac Developments Ltd where he was to develop high capacity packaging machinery to hygienically pack milk powders into 25kg and 1 tonne bulk bags. He has worked at the forefront of developing this technology ever since and has designed and built numerous innovations in hygienic packing systems, inert gas packing, automation and heat sealing systems to enable New Zealand to become a world leader in the export of dry milk powder products. Shane’s reputation as an expert in the packaging industry means his advice is sought after worldwide by milk powder and infant formula manufacturers.
Henri Hermans (Director)
Henri Hermans joined Technopak with 25 years experience in the NZ dairy industry as a design engineer and project manager including 10 years as Engineering Manager for Sapac Developments supervising packing systems manufacture, installation, commissioning and product development. Henri’s depth of experience in engineering design, project management and contract negotiation has been a valuable ingredient in Technopak’s growth and success.
Steve Williams (Sales Manager)
Steve joined Technopak in 2012 after more than 25 years experience in the milk powder handling and packing industry in NZ and throughout the world. He has worked for Nu-Con Ltd as a Project Manager and Technical Manager and has a detailed understanding of hygienic powder systems. He has managed major projects in Ireland, Singapore, Thailand, South America and China and brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Technopak Sales Manager.
Luke Holmes (General & Operations Manager)
Luke was bought in to Technopak at the beginning of 2015 to provide further engineering management experience to the business. His previous position as the General Manager at Fresco Systems has given him an excellent background in powder handling systems in a NZ based, capital equipment manufacturing export company. With over 20 years of management experience across a wide range of engineering businesses, his role is to assist Technopak in growing and developing its international footprint.
